About Campbell's Cause
My Story
I am a San Marcos high school student in Santa Barbara who is seeing daily on my campus the affects the last few years have had on my peers mental health. I want to help them but I wasn't sure how. I have found that teachers need help to help their students. I want to use my passion for photography to raise money to donate to the Teacher's Fund to help them so they can help my peers. I hope you will consider purchasing one of my photos or donating directly to the Teacher's Fund. We can all make a difference and help my generation feel confident, happy, safe and full of joy again!
About Me
I was born in Santa Barbara and have had great experiences at our public schools until Covid hit. Everything changed! Not for the better. I saw friends becoming depressed. They stopped coming to school and sports. Sadly, I have seen some friends take their own lives. I want this to stop! I love taking photos of beautiful places I have visited and our own town of Santa Barbara. I took a photography class at San Marcos High and I loved it and my teacher was great! I learned so much and am excited to be able to add to my collection. Photography is a great way to see the world in a different way; the beauty, the pain, all the good and bad. But it is my mission to help my peers because I am blessed and want them to feel the same way. My peers and I are the future so I want to help those that need it! I hope you will help me with this goal!
My photos
I have taken a liking to taking photos of the ocean, mountains and animals. I was lucky enough to go to South Africa on safari in 2022 with my family; I saw the incredible animal kingdom. They were right next to me. Tough to explain the experience but thankful my parents took my sister and me. I will never forget it. I also love Maui and enjoy the untouched areas of the coastline. Santa Barbara has its own captivating beauty and I love photographing our untouched areas like Elings Park and the Douglas Preserve. I hope you like what I have captured!
